Mr./ Ayman Bojabara , chairman of air quality monitoring department in the Environment Public Authority, stated that greenhouse gas emissions, which were caused by fossil fuel combustion, amounted to (95.3%), and it was decided to coordinate with the petroleum sector in the meantime, regarding the establishment of 13 stations for monitoring the air pollutants in oil locations.
Mr./ Ayman Bojabara emphasized that the required arrangements were taken place in the meantime, for the preparation of the second national communication. It was scheduled to be finished by the end of 2018. The rate of greenhouse gas emissions amounted to (0.09%) at most, regarding The share of parties, aggregate greenhouse gas emissions , which had been reported in the united nations convention in that respect.
Mr./ Ayman Bojabara added that there had been 13 stations for monitoring the air pollutants, which worked in the meantime in different location in the state, as well as there were 13 new stations and it was decided to coordinate with the petroleum sector in the meantime, for establishing these stations in the relevant locations. These stations would be connected through data receivers by April 2018. The stations of the air quality monitoring were operated through indicators and precise measuring devices, which sent data to management every five minutes, that procedure was performed through transmitters.
